The equipment it builds and services supports AI and speeds up the commercial launch of next-generation chips. You would work at the base of the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

• Build a product application roadmap for future solutions by understanding customer technologies and their critical gaps in depth.
• Lead the most difficult, complex application work and the team doing it.
• Direct the execution teams for beta sites, evaluations and demos at customer locations, staying closely involved in the SOW and the committed schedule.
• Set customer technical requirements through close analysis and a clear grasp of the product roadmap.
• Guide complex field execution teams from planning through to implementation.
• Develop new methods to optimise system performance for a specific application.
• Identify needs, then analyse, develop and hand off new application capabilities within the system envelope from the product division to the customer application support team.
• Run customer technical review meetings.

Requirements

• Be recognised as the technical expert in your field.
• Show deep or broad expertise in your own discipline and solid knowledge of other disciplines in the function.
• Anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend product, process or service improvements.
• Lead projects that carry significant risk and complexity, and set the strategy for delivering them.
• Solve unique, complex problems with wide business impact, using conceptual and inventive thinking.
• Influence the direction and resource allocation of programmes, projects or services, working within general functional policies and industry guidelines.
• Explain complex ideas clearly, anticipate objections and win over others, often at senior levels, to a different view.

Conditions

Full-time, regular assignee role.

Based in Santa Clara, CA, and eligible for relocation.

Travel is around 10% of the time.

Salary range: $163,000.00 to $224,000.00. Pay depends on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity with current team members.

For sales roles, the posted range is the Target Total Cash range: base salary plus target bonus at 100% goal achievement.
