The role is in Austria and supports customers there, as a 2nd Level Application Support / Windows System Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems and spot likely future issues across many kinds of platforms and services.
• Work on new technology and modernisation projects for some of the company's largest clients.
• Manage client systems data and deliver day-to-day solutions and security compliance.
• Manage a queue of assignments, work directly with technicians, and prioritise tickets to deliver the best solutions to clients.
• Recommend modernisation options, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with other teams and stakeholders.
• Work with clients across industries such as banking and retail, either broadly or by specialising in one sector.
• Grow your career from Junior System Administrator up to Architect.

Requirements

• Required: implement and manage Microsoft Windows Server.
• Required: VMware ESX experience.
• Required: manage public and private cloud, especially migrating from on-premises to cloud.
• Required: fluent English and German.
• Preferred: automation experience, especially infrastructure as code (IaaS).
• Preferred: vulnerability management.
• Preferred: Microsoft Active Directory and federation services.
• Preferred: T-SQL, IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, Failover Clustering,.NET, C, PowerShell, Jira, Octopus, Graylog, CheckMK, Visual Studio debugging.
• You need a valid work permit to take this role supporting customers in Austria.

Conditions

Full-time role with a minimum yearly salary of €74,200.

Your actual salary is set in a personal interview, based on your experience, qualifications and education.
