Description

The company runs a giving platform and support service used by tens of thousands of nonprofits to raise more, recruit more and retain more. Its customers keep increasing giving year over year, even as the sector as a whole sees giving decline.

The company is built around three values: Simplify, Care and Act. Teams are mission-driven.

Responsibilities

  • You report to the Chief Marketing Officer and own how the company creates new business demand and revenue.
  • Your main levers are buyer journeys, integrated campaigns, account-based sales and marketing plays, search and AI visibility, paid search, the website and conversion optimization.
  • You drive month-over-month and year-over-year growth in new accounts, pipeline and bookings, working with Business Development, Sales and Marketing leaders.
  • You run the full demand and conversion engine that guides nonprofits from first contact to becoming customers.
  • You lead through the leaders on your team and shape how the wider Marketing function works. You are a trusted, visible leader among peers.
  • Growing volume from a wider mix of sources: you get ahead of where volume will come from next, and build a multi-year view of those sources with a funded plan behind it, working with demand leaders.
  • Entering market segments the company has not targeted yet: you size them and build account-based marketing and sales playbooks with your team and go-to-market leadership. Your integrated campaigns team keeps Marketing aligned with Sales and Business Development, activating and opting in target accounts.
  • Building the next layer of buyer journey for prospects who are not yet ready to buy, using integrated campaigns, nurturing and personalization at scale with the best available tools. You measure results by conversion and velocity through the funnel, not just top-of-funnel volume.
  • Building and maintaining the reverse waterfall with go-to-market peers as true partners. You share one goal and one set of numbers, and you help GTM leaders solve problems when they come to you.
  • Running experiments with your team and across functions to test ideas at small scale, scaling what works and cutting what does not. You show the evidence behind every funded program to GTM and Executive Leadership.
  • Owning the full programmatic, demand software and demand campaign budget. You decide where it goes, including moving money between channels, sources and teams, and you get leadership aligned before any major shift.
  • Helping set the AI agenda for the whole department: which workflows agents run, how much autonomy each one gets, and who is accountable for the output. You help set the pace and bring other functions along.
  • Growing your team and your influence beyond Marketing. You develop leaders who design strategy and run day-to-day work, and you help the team's ideas win support across the business.
  • Representing the company publicly through presentations, speaking and discussions with nonprofit and industry leaders, and bringing what you learn back to the revenue marketing and product teams. You shape how the market sees the company.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in B2B SaaS growth, demand or revenue marketing, including 5+ years leading other leaders.
  • Scaled a high-volume, high-velocity inbound engine where marketing sourced most of the pipeline.
  • Delivered sustained 30%+ year-over-year bookings growth and helped scale a business toward $200M or more.
  • Owned a marketing-sourced pipeline target and delivered against it under pressure.
  • Built and maintained a reverse waterfall or similar funnel plan with Sales, Business Development and Revenue Operations leaders.
  • Hands-on depth in paid, website and conversion optimization, and in organic and AI-driven discovery.
  • Turned deep product knowledge and hands-on product use into buyer journeys that convert.
  • Owned a significant program, agency and software budget and made real allocation decisions with it.
  • Experience with a modern demand stack: CRM, marketing automation, ABM and intent data, analytics, A/B testing and AI tools.

Conditions

The salary range is $175,500 - $292,500. A discretionary bonus may also be available. Pay within the range depends on skills, experience, qualifications and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
