Test Engineer 3

Description

This is a regular Test Engineer 3 role in the professional engineering job family, based onsite in Annapolis Junction, USA, Maryland.

You will have a real effect on mission outcomes while building your engineering career.

You will lead the test and evaluation work on a task, manage its resources, and act as the link for contract coordination and task delivery.

Responsibilities

• Research test and evaluation methods and apply them alongside related engineering, acquisition, and operations work as the T&E activities require.
• Plan performance analysis and performance data collection, then carry them out.
• Manage T&E resources and tasks, and check the quality of test processes and outputs.
• Bring new ideas to the work and respond quickly to program changes and shifts in T&E status, so program risk stays under control.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, statistics, engineering management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 8 years of related experience.
• Skills in modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, test plan design, and test procedure development.
• Technical skills in T&E strategy, master plans, event test plans, and T&E assessments and reports.
• An active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and a polygraph.
• US citizenship.

Conditions

Onsite work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, USA, with no travel required.

A 40-hour scheduled work week.

The likely salary range is $119,000 to $161,000. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and possibly contract terms, and may fall outside this range.
