Description

The company builds advanced defense systems and is scaling fast, so execution is the priority. The team is growing in a focused, ownership-driven way.

This is an early-stage role with significant ownership, working alongside strong teammates. Your work will have a visible effect on the company's mission and direction, whatever your function.

As a Technical Recruiter for Operations, you will help build the operational foundation a fast-growing defense technology company needs. You will own full-cycle hiring across supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, facilities, program management, and other key business and operations areas.

As engineering, manufacturing, and production expand, the operations organization will shape how well the company executes. You will work with leaders across the business to find, attract, and hire capable operators who build systems, solve problems, and deliver results at a demanding pace where the stakes are high.

This role suits a recruiter who enjoys variety, can hire across very different professional disciplines, and knows how to find strong candidates in competitive markets. You will run your own searches, build pipelines ahead of need, and deliver consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruiting for supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, facilities, program management, and other operations roles.
  • Work with functional leaders and hiring managers to grasp business needs, set hiring priorities, and shape targeted strategies.
  • Build ahead-of-need pipelines for key operations roles such as buyers, supply chain managers, sourcing specialists, logistics professionals, program managers, facilities leaders, and operations staff.
  • Find and approach passive candidates through direct sourcing, market research, referrals, industry networks, and inventive outreach.
  • Build a clear picture of competitive talent markets in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, industrial technology, and related sectors.
  • Define candidate profiles and qualification criteria with hiring managers, and pinpoint the skills needed to support growth.
  • Handle several requisitions at once while keeping pipelines full, communication steady, and processes efficient.
  • Assess candidates on functional skill, problem solving, ownership, adaptability, and proven delivery.
  • Keep interviews moving with prompt feedback, clear communication, and agreement among stakeholders.
  • Track competitor organizations, talent availability, pay trends, and sourcing opportunities.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and pipeline performance, find ways to improve, and own hiring outcomes.
  • Help develop recruiting processes, systems, and operating standards as the company grows.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting for operations, supply chain, procurement, logistics, program management, or other business-critical roles.
  • You have recruited across several professional disciplines and functional teams.
  • You have sourced and engaged passive candidates in competitive markets.
  • You work well with hiring managers and functional leaders to turn their needs into recruiting plans.
  • You have managed multiple requisitions and competing priorities at a fast pace.
  • You communicate well, stay organized, build relationships, and close candidates.
  • You understand business and industries quickly, including unfamiliar functions and technical requirements.
  • You take ownership, hold yourself accountable, act resourcefully, and move quickly.
  • Nice to have: experience recruiting in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, hardware, industrial technology, or other high-growth settings.
  • Nice to have: experience hiring for supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, logistics, inventory, materials management, or program management.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with manufacturing supply chains, including direct materials, electronics, avionics, mechanical components, and production sourcing.
  • Nice to have: experience recruiting for facilities, infrastructure, site operations, or industrial operations.
  • Nice to have: experience supporting a startup or organization scaling its operations quickly.
  • Nice to have: ability to build talent maps and competitive market intelligence across several functional disciplines.
  • Nice to have: experience recruiting across multiple geographic markets and supporting onsite teams.
  • Nice to have: experience using Greenhouse or another modern applicant tracking system.
