Responsibilities

• Lead the build and rollout of infrastructure and applications that scale and stay reliable, in line with business goals.
• Review systems and recommend changes that improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Administer core infrastructure, including Windows Server and desktop, GCP, AWS, Azure, AD and Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, Mimecast, and VMware.
• Manage IAM across Okta, Microsoft 365, and Google, and across cloud platforms, so access stays secure and seamless.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure with attention to cost, performance, scalability, compliance, and security.
• Automate deployments, routine tasks, and joiner and leaver processes to raise uptime and efficiency.
• Handle user provisioning and deprovisioning, access requests, and SSO and MFA setup.
• Work with IT leadership and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and document the fixes.
• Write detailed documentation, diagrams, and procedures for systems.
• Follow OHS regulations and actively encourage safe practices.
• Take part in every stage of the company's due diligence framework to reach zero compliance breaches.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent IT tertiary qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in information technology, networking, or system administration.
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) with 3+ years of equivalent systems engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
• A basic understanding of switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Customer-focused, with outstanding verbal communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and a self-directed approach to learning.
• Preferred: proven experience in large enterprise environments.
• Preferred: CCNA and IT security certifications such as Security+ and/or CISSP (a plus).
• Preferred: experience supporting a training and/or R&D environment.
