  • Handle complex system engineering designs and abstract concepts, and turn them into models and analyses.
  • Program in one or more software environments.
  • Turn customer and operational needs into clear technical specifications.
  • Explain technical detail in an accessible way and manage expectations well.
  • Be open to occasional international travel.
  • Hold Dutch nationality, which is required by security and defence project regulations.
  • Pass security screening (AIVD-B), which is mandatory.
  • Speak Dutch and English fluently.
  • Preferred: knowledge of electromagnetic wave propagation, control engineering, or simulation standards such as HLA/DIS.
  • Preferred: experience with languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Java, C(++), Python or Fortran.
  • Preferred: comfort working in Linux environments.
  • Preferred: experience with distributed simulations.

Conditions

Work from one of four Dutch cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven or Hengelo (HQ).

You can usually choose where and when you work. The company aims for a 60/40 balance, with at least two days a week from home where the role allows.

Occasional international travel is part of the role.

A government clearance will be requested under standard company procedures.

You may be asked to complete an assessment to confirm a good match.

Benefits

  • Challenging work in a strong team, in a high-tech, innovative setting that welcomes initiative and good ideas.
  • Room to grow personally and professionally, including technical, commercial or international skills.
  • Collaboration with colleagues from 68 countries.
  • A comfortable, modern workspace with a focus on flexibility and work-life balance.
