Statistical Programmer

Description

You will join a project team that researches and develops new pharmaceutical products as a core member.

Your main work is analysing and reporting clinical trial data, guided and overseen by a Senior Statistical Analyst.

You will work with statistics, clinical data strategy and operations, medical writing, regulatory publishing and development operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for regulatory submissions, such as reviewer guides and data definition documents.
• Help build standard SAS macros.
• Merge varied inputs, including clinical study databases, external databases and real-world data, into analysis-ready datasets under a defined quality control process for each study.
• Carry out exploratory data analysis and visualisation alongside a clinical pharmacologist or pharmacometrician.
• Build interactive and static visuals that present quantitative results.
• Write SAS programs that generate ADaM datasets to CDISC standards.
• Write SAS programs that generate tables, listings and figures.
• Validate ADaM datasets.
• Validate tables, listings and figures.
• Define the structure of ADaM datasets for individual studies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field, with 0+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in one of those fields with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical, demonstrated understanding of SAS programming or NONMEM concepts and techniques.
• Clear written and spoken communication.

The posted pay range is the base pay the company believes in good faith it will offer for this grade at the time of posting. Actual pay depends on factors including geographic location, may fall above or below the range, and the range may change.

This job is eligible for the company's short-term incentive programmes.
