Staff Systems Engineer

Description

The company's Aeronautics Systems group is hiring a Staff Systems Engineer based in El Segundo, California.

The role requires a Secret clearance to start.

Requirements

• You hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM field and have 12 years of related engineering experience, or a master's degree in a STEM field and 10 years of related engineering experience.
• You can obtain and keep a U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance. Your background investigation must fall within the last 6 years, or you must be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
• You can obtain and keep Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a timeframe the business sets according to its needs.
• Preferred: you already hold an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance, with a background investigation within the last 6 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
• Preferred: you write clearly and have strong technical writing skills.
• Preferred: you have a track record of presenting technical material to stakeholders.
• Preferred: you have experience verifying requirements.

Conditions

The role involves travel about 25% of the time.

Relocation assistance may be available.

Base pay ranges from $177,000.00 to $265,600.00. This is a general guideline, and the final offer depends on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, your experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
