Sign Up to ReadThe company designs AI compute, from semiconductors and software to systems built at datacenter scale, for customers working at the edge of AI. It is owned by SoftBank Group and works with sister companies in that group.
This is a two-year graduate programme that leads to a permanent role. You get hands-on work and ownership from the start, tackling hard problems with a team that backs your growth.
You will learn alongside AI researchers, chip designers and software engineers, and bring your own ideas to the table.
Over the two years you will build practical skills in Linux, cloud technologies, networking, storage and observability, plus OpenStack, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Automation and troubleshooting work will show you how these systems connect and teach you to investigate problems in a methodical way.
You will use logs and metrics to test your ideas and report what you find.
Working with engineers, researchers and Datacentre Operations will show you how platform choices affect the people who use these services, and sharpen your technical judgement and communication.
Start date: September 2027.
Applications close at midnight on 29 November 2026, and may close earlier, so apply early.
You must already have the right to work in the UK for the full length of the programme. Visa sponsorship is not available for early careers roles.
Outcomes are sent by early December at the latest. Successful applicants complete a technical assessment, and those reaching the final stage attend in-person assessments in early spring.
The company is an equal opportunity employer and will support any adjustments you need during the interview process.
