Sr. Specialist, Cybersecurity Engineering

Description

The company needs a hands-on security engineer to secure its strategic enterprise platforms through implementation, automation, assurance and steady risk reduction.

You will work with platform owners, engineers, architects and product teams to build security controls into platforms, strengthen resilience, standardise governance and keep platform operations trusted across critical business systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, run and keep up security controls on strategic platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Veeva, AI platforms, and enterprise SaaS and PaaS services.
• Help assure platforms by running security assessments, validating controls, reducing risk and preparing for compliance reviews.
• Fold security into platform delivery, CI/CD pipelines and day-to-day operations.
• Write automation, controls-as-code and reusable security patterns that make platforms safer and operations more efficient.
• Watch platform security posture, look into gaps and push findings through to remediation.
• Work with platform teams to improve resilience, make onboarding easier and support secure adoption.
• Help shape security standards, operating procedures and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, platform security or DevSecOps.
• Current, working knowledge of AI technologies and how enterprises use them.
• Ability to use AI to improve security engineering, automation, investigations and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of emerging AI security risks and the ability to support safe adoption of AI across strategic platforms.
• Hands-on experience putting security controls into PaaS, SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Experience with identity security, security automation, logging, monitoring and vulnerability remediation.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, APIs, CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native technology.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: experience supporting SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Veeva or similar enterprise platforms.
• Preferred: experience with AI security, software supply chain security and platform governance.
• Preferred: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, GIAC, AWS or Azure security certification.
• Preferred: experience in regulated enterprise environments.

Conditions

Based in Rahway, New Jersey, USA, on a regular employment basis, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Base salary range for the primary location: $117,000.00 to $184,200.00. Final pay depends on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements and business needs.

Eligible for an annual bonus and long-term incentive, where applicable.
