Description

The company's space CIDO program management office is hiring a Sr. Principal CIDO IT Program Manager to be the main CIDO contact for the Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) program.

The role lines up CIDO and Classified Solutions services, including networks, compute, software, cybersecurity and ATO support, with what GPI needs.

You will work with program leadership, engineering, classified IT, cybersecurity and enterprise CIDO teams to plan, rank and deliver IT capabilities while meeting security, cost and schedule targets.

The role also covers liaison work between corporate and sector leadership, including digital maturity strategy, proposals, budgets, staffing, acquisitions, teaming and customer satisfaction, and leads a matrix team across several programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary CIDO IT contact for GPI in program forums, reviews and daily work.
  • Plan and run GPI IT work, covering demand intake, prioritization, roadmaps and tracking of classified and unclassified networks, NGPCN capabilities, software and tooling, storage and related services.
  • Work with Classified Solutions IT, ISSM/ISSO teams and enterprise CIDO services to scope, schedule and deliver new capabilities, system changes and ATO work.
  • Turn GPI technical and schedule needs into IT demand signals and project plans with ROMs, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Support accreditation and security posture by aligning IT solutions with RMF, JSIG and customer requirements alongside cybersecurity, ISSM/ISSO and program security teams.
  • Resolve complex cross-functional IT problems, such as classified software licensing, tool rollout, capacity limits and performance issues, that affect cost, schedule or technical results.
  • Build and maintain program dashboards and status reports on IT schedules, risks, issues and mitigation plans for program leadership and CIDO management.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams on mission use cases, including modeling and simulation, software development, integration and test, and data analytics, so the IT environment fits the work.
  • Find ways to standardize and reuse CIDO and Classified Solutions architectures, processes and tools across GPI and related efforts to cut cost and delivery time.
  • Lead or contribute to technical and program reviews, including internal gates, customer reviews and ATO reviews, as the IT and CIDO representative.
  • Plan long-range IT capacity, lifecycle and risk for the GPI portfolio, including hardware and software end-of-life, storage growth, and network and HPC demand.

Requirements

  • Hold a Master's degree in IT, business or a related field plus 6 years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree in one of those fields plus 8 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of related experience. 12 years of related experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Show experience managing IT programs or projects on complex defense or aerospace work.
  • Show experience in classified IT environments, such as SAP/SAR, TS and SCIF or closed area settings, including coordination with cybersecurity, ISSM/ISSO and facilities or security teams.
  • Show a record of planning and running IT projects involving infrastructure, networks or specialized software and tooling, with measurable effect on schedule and performance.
  • Communicate well with stakeholders, turning technical IT topics into clear program-level risk, schedule and cost impacts.
  • Hold a current U.S. Government Secret clearance to be considered.
  • Be able to obtain and keep a Top Secret clearance and access to Special Programs (SAP/SAR) as a condition of employment.
  • Preferred: hold an active Top Secret clearance and current or recent SAP/SAR access.
  • Preferred: have supported Enterprise Priority Protect (EPP) or other high-priority missile defense or interceptor programs such as MDA or GPI.
  • Preferred: have hands-on experience with NGPCN or other enterprise classified IT services.
  • Preferred: be familiar with RMF, JSIG and ATO processes and with working across AO/DAO and customer security groups.
  • Preferred: have worked with CIDO, Classified Solutions and enterprise IT groups in a matrixed setting.
  • Preferred: have a strong background in requirements capture and demand management for IT services, using tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Preferred: hold relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe or ITIL, or formal program or project management training.
