  • Plan and lead major modernization programs, covering scope, technical goals, dependencies, schedules and measurable results.
  • Deploy security infrastructure upgrades and design secure architectures for virtual desktop and server environments.
  • Coordinate engineering, cloud, network, application and development teams on threat modeling, secure API design, encryption and secrets management.
  • Manage architectural risk, run impact analyses and enforce technical quality gates.
  • Test and validate security products functionally.
  • Design and implement secure file sharing and cross domain solutions.
  • Lead or join modernization efforts by coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing pilots and vendor integrations, and driving enterprise application security.
  • Build security into enterprise applications through secure design, automated security testing, software composition analysis, threat analysis, API security and data protection.
  • Advise senior leadership on strategy and enterprise risk, sit on or lead architecture boards, interagency councils and industry working groups, and represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • You have 10+ years of related experience.
  • Your background includes building architecture, design and VMware work.
  • You currently hold a Top Secret clearance and can obtain Top Secret/SCI.
  • You are a US citizen.
  • No certifications are required.
  • Desired: experience with Linux, Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Desired: scripting in Python, Perl, shell or similar languages.
