  • Rank tasks by likely impact and how easily they can be carried out.
  • Present your findings and back every recommendation with solid data.
  • Spot reporting issues and work out how to solve them.
  • Write content recommendations and technical analysis decks.
  • Help marketing build SEO case studies, white papers, blog posts, points of view, and similar material.
  • Work with creative and development teams so recommendations get implemented correctly.
  • Turn client business goals and marketing objectives into effective search strategies.
  • Finalize keyword lists with little supervision.
  • Know a range of SEO and SEM tools, when to use each, and where each falls short.
  • Build your technical SEO knowledge so you can explain common issues and their fixes.
  • Work with social, SEM, and offline marketing teams to deliver SEO tactics that meet client goals.
  • Share new tools and summarize industry articles for the internal team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of SEO experience or a related field such as SEM.
  • Experience with several keyword research, reporting, and link building tools.
  • Understanding of why certain results rank for particular keywords.
  • Strong hands-on skill with technical SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Lumar, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills, with close attention to detail.
  • A creative problem solver who learns quickly and finds answers in a fast-changing industry.
  • Desired: ability to juggle multiple tasks and take on other assigned duties.
  • Desired: basic web development knowledge, including HTML.
  • Desired: familiarity with healthcare SEO concepts.
  • Desired: skill at building relationships with clients and colleagues.
