Sourcer, Finance (Contract)

Description

The company is hiring a recruiting sourcer to build pipelines of finance and accounting candidates, ranging from staff accountants to senior FP&A, treasury, tax and controllership leaders.

You will find passive candidates and build relationships with them, then give recruiters shortlists of qualified people who are open to a move.

Responsibilities

• Work with recruiters and finance hiring managers to set the core requirements, target companies and candidate profiles for each role.
• Find passive candidates in accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax and corporate finance through LinkedIn Recruiter, alumni networks and professional associations.
• Map target companies, including Big Four and mid-tier public accounting firms, peer businesses and other relevant players in the industry.
• Write tailored, multi-step outreach sequences by email, InMail and phone, and adjust the messaging based on reply rates.
• Conduct first-round screens to check credentials (CPA, CFA, CMA), technical skills, pay expectations and interest.
• Track sourcing results and share market findings, such as pay trends, candidate availability and competitor moves, with recruiters and leadership.
• Maintain ongoing pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill finance roles.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of sourcing or recruiting experience, including at least 1 year on finance and accounting roles, in an agency or in-house.
• A working understanding of finance functions and job titles, and how scope changes from staff to director level.
• Strong written communication for cold outreach, with a record of good response rates.
• Ability to juggle several open searches at once and rank them by business need.
