The role suits someone who wants a legal career outside practice that mixes legal knowledge, training and sales.

You will help legal professionals learn and get value from LexisNexis research tools, and you will support them with legal research.

You will work in the Small Law market and become an expert on LexisNexis products and the value they give legal professionals. You will educate and support customers, build preference for the products, and drive usage. You will keep and grow revenue in your assigned accounts or territory, build strong relationships inside those accounts, and identify new business.

LexisNexis Legal & Professional provides legal, regulatory and business information and analytics that help customers work more productively, make better decisions and reach better outcomes. As a digital pioneer, it was the first to put legal and business information online, through its Lexis and Nexis services.

Responsibilities

• Reach out proactively to legal customers and prospects so they make full use of LexisNexis products and understand them.
• Speak credibly with customers about their challenges and offer guidance, education and consultation that helps them improve.
• Call and email customers to find out what training and product needs they have.
• Run specialized customer presentations and training sessions that explain our value and point out how we differ from competitors, to keep and grow revenue.
• Work with internal partners to build preference and create strategic account plans.
• Work with sales to demonstrate products to prospects and current customers and grow revenue.
• Find upsell leads and opportunities and pass them to sales partners.

Requirements

• A Juris Doctor degree, or comparable experience as a paralegal, legal secretary or law librarian.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort delivering presentations and training in a virtual setting.
• Proven sales and/or training experience, performed at an excellent level.
• Legal research experience or expertise with LexisNexis tools.
• The ability to partner and collaborate effectively with teams across different functions.
• The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role. You must be in the Miamisburg, Ohio office on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.

U.S. national base pay range: $48,900 to $81,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to reflect local market rates.
