Description

The company is hiring a senior cloud infrastructure solutions architect for its ANZ team, working with Neo Clouds, with deep experience in DevOps platforms and accelerated compute infrastructure.

Enterprise and academic research groups worldwide use the company's products for deep learning, data analytics and data workloads.

The role sits in a dynamic, customer-facing team where strong interpersonal skills matter. You will work with Neo Clouds, customers, partners and internal departments to analyze, define and deliver large-scale AI operations projects.

The work spans system building, Kubernetes-based platforms, automation, hardware and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain large-scale computing and AI infrastructure, with a focus on monitoring, logging and workload orchestration using Kubernetes and Linux job schedulers.
  • Improve scalable, production-ready Kubernetes container platforms that integrate enterprise networking and storage.
  • Build, refine and document standard methods and operational guidelines for internal teams.
  • Lead technical engagements with customers, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and represent their technical needs.
  • Support enterprise and R&D work, and run POCs and POVs to validate new features, architectures and upgrade approaches.
  • Work with APAC regional and HQ engineering, product and sales teams to plan the best solutions for partners. Use customer feedback and proof-of-concept results to help grow product features.
  • Build tools that automate large-scale infrastructure deployment and management, automate monitoring and alerting, and enable self-service resource use.
  • Write high-quality documentation, including runbooks, onboarding materials and best-practice guides for customers and internal teams.
  • Act as the technical lead for assigned customer accounts, advising on DevOps and platform architecture and shaping long-term infrastructure and operations decisions.

Requirements

  • A BS, MS or PhD in computer science, electrical or computer engineering, physics, mathematics or a related field, plus 5+ years of professional experience managing scalable cloud environments and in automation engineering roles.
  • Proven hardware and software experience at scale, including familiarity with HPC and AI technologies (CPUs, GPUs, high-speed interconnects) and their supporting software stacks.
  • Proven understanding of networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP stack, and of data center architecture from storage to networking and GPU-accelerated compute, plus DevOps software stacks. You have hands-on experience deploying, optimizing and fixing HPC/AI clusters.
  • Extensive Kubernetes experience, including container orchestration, resource scheduling, scaling and integration with HPC environments.
  • Deep Linux knowledge (RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu), including OS-level security and protocols (TCP, DHCP, DNS). Experience with storage systems such as Lustre, GPFS, ZFS, XFS and emerging Kubernetes storage technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash, configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). Experience with observability stacks (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus) for monitoring, logging and building fault-tolerant systems.
  • Strong background in designing scalable solutions and giving consultative support to customers.
  • Nice to have: experience with GPU-focused hardware and software (e.g., the company DGX, CUDA, GPU Operator).
  • Nice to have: solid hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based microservices architectures.
  • Nice to have: experience with large-scale and cluster computing, data center design, high-speed interconnects (Spectrum/InfiniBand), cluster storage and scheduling design or management.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and automation.
  • Nice to have: background with RDMA-based fabrics (InfiniBand or RoCE) in HPC or AI environments.
