Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Description

The company is a global technology and professional services firm serving U.S. government, defense and intelligence agencies, with about 26,000 staff across more than 50 countries.

This role is a software quality assurance position on a full software lifecycle validation effort, working alongside developers, product owners and analysts on mission-critical systems.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, which you must currently hold, and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test plans, procedures and test cases based on acceptance criteria for web, API and backend components.
• Run manual and automated regression tests across several environments to confirm new features work and to catch defects early.
• Build and maintain automated test suites in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Maven and related tools.
• Perform functional, performance, automated, IV&V and audit verification testing to confirm software meets sponsor requirements.
• Turn user requirements into testable acceptance criteria and user stories.
• Work with Agile teams to keep requirements clear, complete and traceable.
• Check system logs and audit record content against definition files to confirm records are produced, accurate and compliant with sponsor requirements.
• Find system anomalies, trace their root causes and write clear, actionable defect reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent mix of education, technical certifications, training or work experience.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated skill in automation testing, compliance testing and functional test planning.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Conditions

Onsite position in Vienna, Virginia, at a customer site.

Full-time, 40 scheduled hours per week.

Travel is less than 10% of the time.

U.S. citizenship is required.

The likely salary range is $162,037 to $219,227, based on experience, geographic location and possibly contract terms; the actual pay may fall outside this range.
