Over a decade of compliance experience sits behind the platform, which helps businesses grow across borders.

You will join the Time Engineering team as a Software Engineering Intern, working on platform features that affect how customers are acquired, engaged and retained. You will work with engineers, product managers and designers on real technical problems and user-facing features, and you will see how the systems that businesses rely on are built.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside engineers at different levels, product managers and designers to ship scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Write, test and maintain applications and services in TypeScript and Postgres on AWS, using a serverless setup.
• Use AI-assisted development across every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Help improve systems and processes that drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement.
• Learn to write clean, maintainable, efficient code that follows team standards.
• Take part in technical discussions, design reviews and team code reviews to build your engineering skills.
• Help diagnose and fix technical issues.
• Keep up with new technologies and best practices to expand your toolkit.

Requirements

• You are working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field.
• You have a solid grasp of software engineering principles, data structures and algorithms.
• You have academic or project experience with modern languages and technologies, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript or backend systems.
• You know databases such as Postgres and SQL, and you have basic cloud knowledge, for example of AWS.
• You work lean: you cut waste, improve workflows and keep refining your work in iterations to deliver customer value.
• You solve problems well, want to learn and grow, and handle a quick-moving, changing environment.
• You communicate clearly, collaborate well and work as part of a team.
