Description

The company makes strategic portfolio management software that helps organizations line up their work with business goals, plan demand and resources, oversee projects, and speed up how products and services get delivered.

The role blends hands-on engineering with product thinking. You will work alongside product managers to understand customer problems, help shape answers, and carry features from idea to release.

The team builds AI-native features and uses AI tools to speed up design, development, testing, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and ship features for the portfolio management software.
  • Create AI-native features that use generative and agentic capabilities to make planning, insights, and the user experience better.
  • Use AI tools throughout the development process, such as for writing code, generating tests, debugging, documentation, and reviewing code, and check the output for correctness, security, and maintainability.
  • Work with product managers to turn customer needs into well-defined technical solutions, balancing user value, complexity, and delivery dates.
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and automate where you can. Take part in code reviews, design reviews, and releases, and help improve how the team engineers software.
  • Investigate and fix production problems, including P1 escalations during US business hours. Run root cause analysis and put preventive fixes in place.
  • Help improve platform security, accessibility (WCAG), and overall quality.

Requirements

  • No employment-based visa sponsorship is offered for this role.
  • Only U.S. citizens and green card holders (lawful permanent residents) can apply, because federal contract rules require it.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience, or a master's degree in a related field and 2 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience using AI in your work, such as applying AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-generated insights, or thinking through how AI affects your function or industry, including its effect on decisions and problem solving.
  • A track record of building full stack applications with modern UX frameworks, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a server-side language such as Java or Python.
  • A builder's mindset: you consider user value, usability, technical design, and quality risk like a product manager, designer, engineer, and tester would, before choosing a solution.
  • Proven skill with AI tools, such as coding assistants, LLM-based tools, or AI-driven testing, to work faster, with the judgment to know when to trust their output and when to verify it.
  • Strong communication and the ability to work well with product, quality engineering, and platform partners.
  • Familiarity with building accessibility-compliant products (WCAG).
