Description

About the Role

Join a fintech team building AI-powered software that helps institutional investment teams manage financial data and automate reporting. You will work across the product, from document-processing systems to agents that turn client requests into completed reports.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve systems that process large collections of fund documents and financial data.
  • Develop AI agents that help transform client requests into accurate reports and other work products.
  • Own projects across the product lifecycle, from shaping the approach to shipping and supporting features.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver useful product improvements.
  • Use AI coding tools as a core part of your development workflow, applying sound judgment to review and ship generated code.

Requirements

  • Two to ten years of full-time software engineering experience, including backend development and end-to-end ownership of full-stack work.
  • Experience with Python, React, TypeScript, AWS, and databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Extensive use of AI programming tools and a clear, practical approach to reviewing AI-generated code.
  • Experience leading a significant project through its lifecycle, with demonstrated growth and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Linux and cloud infrastructure experience is useful.
  • Finance experience is not required; strong engineering fundamentals and comfort with ambiguous problems are valued.

Conditions

Base salary: $140,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

On-site in Seattle, Washington. Candidates must be able to work from the Seattle office or relocate before starting.
