Description

The company makes a product intelligence and analytics platform used by more than 29,000 companies to see how people use their products, combining analytics with AI that understands each customer's business.

The Growth Engineering team works to raise user activation and grow self-serve revenue, partnering with Product, Design and Marketing on the funnel of customers who land on the platform, set it up, and see value quickly.

This role sits on the Top of Funnel Pod, a small group focused on user acquisition and activation. Recent work includes agentic onboarding, a home page experiment with product setup nudges, and an experiment on MCP connection.

The focus is web experimentation: designing, building and analyzing tests across onboarding flows and other areas to lift key growth metrics. The work spans frontend UI through backend data pipelines, and you will turn experiment results into product changes with Product and Design. The role directly shapes top-of-funnel growth and self-serve revenue.

The company was backed by investors including Andreessen-Horowitz, Sequoia, YC and, most recently, Bain Capital, with $277M raised.

  • Design, build and analyze experiments across product and onboarding flows to improve acquisition and activation.
  • Work with Product and Design to choose high-impact hypotheses backed by data and user research.
  • Add tracking and build dashboards in the company to measure experiment results and guide the next iteration.
  • Build and improve onboarding so users reach value faster and more new users activate.
  • Take part in the team's on-call rotation to keep systems healthy and improve them.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Strong debugging and technical investigation skills.
  • Comfort using modern AI coding tools.
  • Experience running growth experiments.
  • Clear technical communication, ideally from working asynchronously in a remote team.
  • You move quickly, iterate, own problems and focus on delivering value to users.
  • A data-driven approach.
  • Optional: interest in using AI and GenAI to speed up experimentation workflows.
  • Optional: prior experience on a growth engineering team or in a growth-focused role.
  • Optional: experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Optional: experience with Django and Python.
  • Optional: experience with experimentation platforms such as the company, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Statsig or similar.
