Description

The company is a financial infrastructure platform that helps businesses take payments and grow their revenue. Millions of companies use it, from large enterprises to early-stage startups.

The role sits on the internal infrastructure side, supporting the microservices and internal engineering teams behind the platform.

  • Write and review technical designs, weighing reliability, latency, throughput, resiliency, cost, and how quickly teams can ship.
  • Make services easier to operate by adding monitoring and alerts, taking part in on-call rotations where applicable, investigating root causes, and fixing failures that keep coming back.
  • Keep engineering standards high through code reviews, documentation, testing, and ongoing improvements to existing services.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, or a foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with 2 years of software engineering work experience.
  • Have 2 years of Go backend development, including production services and automated tests.
