Software Engineer (Remote)

Description

The company is building an onchain trading product that is not an exchange. The main work is in the system's design: who gains and who loses, who holds which assets, and how unusual cases are handled.

Responsibilities

• Take the product from idea to release, covering both the onchain and offchain parts, with frequent releases.
• Help shape pricing, payouts, rewards, liquidations and tokens.
• Look for weaknesses in the system before outside attackers do, since funds attract probing within hours of launch.
• Use AI coding agents daily: guide them, check their output, and decide when to skip them.

Requirements

• Solid engineering skills and a quick ability to learn.
• A project you built that people used.
• Hands-on familiarity with onchain markets, such as trading or using DEXes, bridges and wallets.
• Interest in mechanism design and incentives.
• Ownership of your work, including the ability to start without a detailed spec.
• No particular stack, degree or number of years of experience is required.

You must be willing to travel for in-person time with the team.

Base salary is $70,000 to $110,000 USD per year, depending on experience. Compensation also includes a token allocation, with details shared during the interview process.
