Software Engineer

Description

The team is early-stage and builds AI software for in-person sales and coaching.

You will ship full-stack features from concept to production, solving practical problems for customers while helping set engineering standards as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Ship polished product features across the stack at speed, without lowering engineering standards.
• Create new capabilities from the ground up as part of the technical roadmap.
• Understand users' real-world situations and turn them into solutions that work.
• Shape code quality and technical decisions, and help define practices for a larger engineering team.
• Take on more ownership as the company grows, and help hire future engineers.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience building and releasing software, ideally at a fast-moving startup.
• Hands-on full-stack experience shipping user-facing features with React or React Native, TypeScript, and Python.
• Some exposure to cloud infrastructure through product work, including deploying infrastructure on AWS.
• Ability to iterate fast while keeping quality high, with a customer-first mindset and a drive to learn from users.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, plus evidence of initiative, entrepreneurial drive, or success in a highly talented environment.

Conditions

Base salary is $192,500 to $258,000 per year.

Visa sponsorship is available.

Work on-site in New York, NY, five days a week.
