Description

About the Role

Join the mobile team at a consumer marketplace company and take end-to-end ownership of its native iOS app. You will work closely with product, design, and backend partners to deliver a polished experience for creators.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship iOS features in Swift, owning work from initial idea through launch.
  • Define and evolve the app's architecture as the mobile team grows.
  • Create fast, polished native interfaces and interactions.
  • Investigate production issues and improve reliability and performance.
  • Establish engineering practices and standards for mobile development.

Requirements

  • 1 to 5+ years of professional iOS development experience, with hands-on native Swift engineering.
  • Experience owning a native iOS app end to end, including a startup or personal app published on the App Store.
  • Knowledge of iOS fundamentals, software architecture, MVVM or similar patterns, REST APIs, and asynchronous data handling.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and ship projects from unclear problems to finished outcomes.
  • Product-focused judgment and strong attention to UI and interaction details, ideally from a startup or design-forward consumer product environment.
  • Experience with AI tools, model testing, or agentic workflows is valued.
  • Marketplace or gamified consumer product experience is a plus.
