Software Engineer I (Remote Eligible)

The company has spent over 20 years helping teams manage work and scale their solutions. It is now combining human teams with AI agents, handing repetitive tasks and large-scale analysis to the agents so people can spend their time on judgment, creativity and bigger ideas.

The Engineering team is hiring a Software Engineer I to work on full-stack services and distributed systems, where traditional software engineering meets AI-driven development. The team uses AI to write code, find bugs sooner and troubleshoot more effectively, and wants engineers who will build that skill and help teammates do the same. You will ship real features, take part in architecture discussions that shape the product, and grow with a team that values both good engineering and meaningful work.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable front-end and back-end services for the company's next generation of applications using Kotlin, Java, TypeScript and React.
• Tackle hard distributed systems problems and work with modern cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes.
• Join code reviews and architecture discussions with other engineers and product managers.
• Build a close working relationship with product management and other parts of the business.
• Add new features to existing application code, and weigh build, refactor and simplify options when making technical decisions.
• Use AI tools day to day across coding, testing, design and troubleshooting, look for ways to bring AI into team processes and features, and coach others on using it well.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of software development experience building highly scalable, highly available applications.
• At least 1 year of programming experience with full-stack technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Python or TypeScript.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience developing, documenting and supporting REST APIs.
• At least 6 months of professional experience using AI to boost personal productivity while building complex SaaS feature sets.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Able to adapt when priorities or problems change.
• Ready to take ownership of your work and grow into bigger challenges.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and out loud, explaining your reasoning in code reviews, documentation and team discussions.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.

Conditions

This role is remote eligible, with teleworking allowed from any registered location in the U.S.

The base salary range for US hires is $107,500 - $147,500 USD. Final pay depends on factors such as experience, education, skills and candidate location, and the role is also eligible for a market-competitive incentive.

Pay is set by level of experience, education, skills and location, and the base range may differ by geographic area where the company is licensed to operate.
