This individual contributor role sits on the Content Platform team, improving the internal content workflow and the systems that distribute content.

You will work alongside Staff and Senior engineers in a supportive setting while building your experience and career.

Responsibilities

• Take features from requirements to production across the content platform, designing and building them.
• Plan work with your Product Manager, Technical Project Manager and fellow engineers by scoping tasks, estimating effort and setting sprints.
• Produce clean, well-tested code, and take part in code reviews by giving and accepting feedback.
• Investigate and fix problems across the stack, and help support production systems during the team's on-call rotation.
• Apply AI tools to shorten engineering turnaround, and refine your solutions so they perform as well as possible.
• Help keep the team healthy through clear communication, useful reviews and shared responsibility for quality.

Requirements

• Required: a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Required: 2+ years of software development, with a focus on large-scale applications.
• Required: working knowledge of several programming languages, with Golang as the main focus, such as Go, PHP, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, Java, C or C++.
• Required: a thorough grasp of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Required: strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Required: strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required: hands-on experience with software testing.
• Required: experience using AI for code generation and brainstorming.
• Preferred: full stack experience across several languages and technologies, including Go, PHP, Node.js with TypeScript, GraphQL, REST APIs and NoSQL databases, among others.
• Preferred: experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
• Preferred: previous work with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role. The team works in the office Tuesday through Thursday each week, and you may work remotely on Mondays and Fridays if you choose.

The office is at 1801 California St., Denver, CO 80202.

The starting salary is $97,500 to $125,000, set by geographic location, qualifications and experience, in line with state Fair Pay Acts.
