Description

The networking software group builds the software that runs the fabrics inside very large AI systems, covering NVLink and InfiniBand switch management, subnet managers, in-network computing and fabric telemetry.

The infrastructure and DevOps team manages how that software is built, tested, scanned and released: CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes build fleets, artifact and container registries, quality and security gates, and the hardware-simulation and lab environments product teams use daily.

The role spans about a dozen active repositories and three CI systems, and works with DevOps and product engineers spread across the US and Israel. Every build shipped by the networking software organization goes through this work.

The company is hiring at Level 3 and Level 4 for an existing opening.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for several networking software products on GitLab CI, Jenkins and GitHub Actions, from merge request gates through nightly regressions to release pipelines that package, sign and publish Debian and RPM packages and container images.
  • Make pipeline results reliable: surface failures clearly, remove anything that hides them, stabilize flaky lanes, and turn nightly regression output into information product teams can act on.
  • Run and improve the build infrastructure, including Kubernetes-based CI runner fleets, container registries, artifact repositories, caching, retention policies and access control.
  • Build code coverage, static analysis, unit and functional test lanes, secret and container scanning, and dependency and vulnerability scanning into every pipeline, and work with owning teams until findings are resolved.
  • Automate provisioning of hardware and simulation test environments using Ansible and Python.
  • Work with C++ and Python developers, verification engineers, and lab and infrastructure teams to unblock builds, harden release paths and set repository standards such as branch protection, code owners and merge policies.
  • Use AI-assisted tools such as automated code review, failure triage assistants and agent workflows where they reduce manual work in DevOps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in DevOps, build and release, or infrastructure engineering, including pipelines you owned end to end.
  • Hands-on Linux skills on Ubuntu and RHEL: strong shell use, process and system debugging, package management, operating fleets of hosts, and running containers with Docker.
  • Strong automation skills in Python and Bash.
  • Production experience with at least one modern CI system (GitLab CI, Jenkins pipelines or GitHub Actions), including multi-stage pipelines for both compiled and interpreted code.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes as a CI and infrastructure platform, plus container registries and artifact repositories.
  • Familiarity with software quality and security tools for coverage, static analysis, and secret and vulnerability scanning.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals and Git-based workflows.
  • Ownership and clear communication, with the ability to drive problems across teams and time zones and to document your work.
  • Nice to have: experience building and packaging C/C++ projects with CMake and Conan, and keeping large compiled builds fast and reproducible.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with high-performance networking such as InfiniBand, Ethernet fabrics or NVLink, or with switch and network management software.
  • Nice to have: experience running SonarQube, Coverity, Bullseye, or container and secret scanning at scale.
  • Nice to have: practical use of AI agents and LLM tooling to automate DevOps and verification workflows.
  • Nice to have: excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
