Responsibilities

  • Plan and run Quality Engineering work for new and existing features, including test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scenarios.

  • Build, maintain and extend test automation frameworks and automated test suites.
  • Write automated UI and API tests that improve coverage, reliability and testing speed.
  • Review automated test results, look into failures, find root causes and work with engineers to fix them.

  • Watch automated test runs and CI/CD jobs, investigate failures and report quality status, risks and blockers to key stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional and geographically spread teams on test strategy, planning, execution and release readiness.
  • Find ways to widen test coverage and improve automation, tooling and QE processes.

Requirements

  • A BS or MS in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent, in UI automation for web applications.
  • Solid experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript, C++ or another programming language.
  • Experience with Selenium, Appium or other UI automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of and experience testing RESTful APIs, libraries, SDKs and application frameworks, and native applications.
  • Experience with AI evaluation tools, prompt evaluation frameworks, model monitoring or human-in-the-loop review workflows.
  • Experience with at least one modern web application framework.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well both as part of a team and on your own.
  • Strong initiative and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Bonus: experience writing test code or scripts for a game console.
  • Bonus: experience developing an application; experience with game applications is an extra bonus.
  • Bonus: hands-on use of Git, Jenkins and Docker.
  • Bonus: experience with source control (especially Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
  • Bonus: familiarity with ML infrastructure, data pipelines or model-serving platforms such as Seldon, KServe or Ray Serve.

Conditions

Base pay is set using competitive market benchmarking data and geographic location. The estimated base pay range is $140,500 - $210,700 USD.

Base pay may vary with the hybrid working policy, and individual pay depends on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience and location.
