Description

This software engineering role supports intelligence community missions. You will help build software that tackles some of the nation's toughest problems.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and maintain software for data management, processing and presentation.
• Work with stakeholders, engineers, customers and system users.
• Write code in compiled and non-compiled languages, and use AWS cloud services across virtual and physical environments.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited program in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or a similar field.
• Bring 3+ years of related experience.
• Have working knowledge of Agile methodology, AWS, Linux development and Python software development.
• Know C, C++, Python or similar languages. No single language is required.
• Preferred: familiarity with Python, C++, Java and other common higher-level languages.
• Desired: familiarity with AWS resource management and service interfaces.
• Hold an active Top Secret SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Be a US citizen.
• No certifications are required.
• No public trust clearance is required.

Conditions

This is an onsite role in Herndon, Virginia, USA, scheduled for 40 hours per week, with no travel required.

The likely salary range is $125,800 to $170,200. This is not a guarantee. Pay depends on experience, geographic location and possibly contract terms, and may fall outside this range.
