Software Architect (SME)

Description

This role is contingent upon the company winning the contract.

The company is hiring a Software Architect to support a government customer in Chantilly, VA.

The role focuses on architecture for complex enterprise systems, and includes moving research and development work into operational use as technology matures through Technology Readiness Levels (TRL), from lab to operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural requirements from start to finish, including setting them up and overseeing them.
• Advise on enterprise architecture decisions, both strategically and technically.
• Work with clients to pin down system needs and suggest solutions.
• Assess emerging technologies for how well they fit mission requirements.
• Set up architectural governance frameworks.
• Connect research and development efforts with operational needs, guiding technologies through TRL progression from lab to operations across complex enterprise environments.

Requirements

• Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Have at least 20 years of relevant experience.
