Description

The company designs diagnostic medical equipment and digital solutions, and this design centre works on site installation for that equipment with patients, users, and hospital workflows in mind.

This is an early-career apprenticeship for students, recent graduates, or people just starting out in design. It is a learning post, not a senior or expert design role.

You will build technical and workplace skills in a structured, supportive setting with close guidance and hands-on work on real projects.

The contract is fixed term for 12 to 18 months, with a possible extension.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare site installation drawings in Autodesk AutoCAD for diagnostic medical equipment, starting with 1 equipment family.
  • Follow quality and compliance standards, and ask senior team members for help when you need it.
  • Work with designers, senior team members, and project managers to decide where equipment goes and fix problems quickly.
  • Support customers in over 100 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
  • Join a team of 20+ people and attend regular training to improve your skills.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • A university diploma in a related field.
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, or similar software, for 2D drawings.
  • Fluent English.
  • Ability to interpret building drawings, both architectural and structural.
  • Strong attention to detail, including administrative work.
  • Clear communication and practical problem-solving.
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Good time management, especially when deadlines are tight.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.

Conditions

The role is hybrid.

The company cannot provide work permit or visa sponsorship for this position.

Relocation assistance is not provided.

The contract runs 12 to 18 months and may be extended.

Benefits

  • Start as an apprentice designer, gain mentorship and real project experience, and with strong performance you can move into a multimodality designer role, then into specialist or leadership positions.
  • The company prefers to grow its own people and supports long-term career development.
