SharePoint Developer (FTC)

Description

The enterprise applications team builds and improves document management systems and custom internal tools used across a global entertainment business.

The team looks after the platforms behind the intranet and the connections between colleagues in different locations.

You would work closely with colleagues at all levels of the company, handling a varied workload with initiative.

The company is an online gambling business operating since 2000, with over 10,000 employees, more than 120 million customers and services in 26 languages. Its In-Play betting is a core focus, with over 1.38 million In-Play sporting events a year.

Responsibilities

• Run and support SharePoint applications so the platform stays stable.
• Set and oversee permission models so enterprise applications stay secure and access is controlled.
• Build custom solutions from requirements gathered across the business.
• Create automated workflows that simplify processes and improve team communication.
• Update and change sites while keeping to brand standards and leaving core design layouts intact.
• Deploy custom SharePoint features, lists and workflows.
• Run training sessions and demos to help end users adopt the platform.
• Review information architecture and application performance to improve document sharing and reporting.
• Help with data integration and troubleshoot technical issues across SharePoint environments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Modern UI development and web technologies.
• Practical skill with Power Platform, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with modern development environments, Visual Studio Code and Claude Code.
• A track record of adapting quickly and working well outside your comfort zone with little supervision.
• Solid working knowledge of business continuity principles and processes.
• Deep familiarity with JavaScript libraries, React, CAML, PnP PowerShell, CSS and HTML.

Conditions

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
