Service Sales Engineer - Transformers

Description

The company's Service business unit in Monselice is looking for a Service Sales Specialist.

You will support the sales team and customers at each stage of the sales process, growing new and existing business by building internal and external knowledge of products and markets.

Responsibilities

• Take part in sales strategy discussions, set short- and long-term goals, and negotiate the sales budgets and marketing plans for each Product Group.
• Analyse market data and competitor offers to identify customer needs, and shape marketing and communications that show what the products, systems, service and packages deliver.
• Help the area sales organisation and customers choose the most technically suitable and cost-effective solutions, and deliver technical support, product presentations and training on products, solutions and services.
• Own specific customer cases through to resolution, and find the root cause of lost proposals so future bids stand a better chance.
• Review sales performance, propose recovery plans when orders may fall short, and send regular sales activity reports that feed production planning.
• Prepare offers together with the quotation department.
• Keep records in the required tools, such as SFDC.
• Work by the safety and integrity values: own your actions while looking after colleagues and the business.

Requirements

• A technical background, with an engineering degree preferred.
• More than 3 years of experience in direct sales and sales management.
• Previous work with electric substation equipment. Experience presenting transformer solutions to clients is a plus.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Based in Monselice, Padova, Italy.

Full-time role, not remote.

Starting salary from 38000 € gross. The final offer depends on candidate location, skills, qualifications and experience, and follows internal pay structures.
