Service Project Manager (F/M/D)

Description

The company is hiring a service project manager to lead the delivery of small, low-complexity projects from start to finish.

You will make sure each project meets company procedures, contract terms, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, and its cost, profit and schedule targets.

Responsibilities

• Keep the project in line with company health, safety and environment policies, and plan it around the correct contractual scope of supply and HSE requirements.
• Track progress and resource use, and monitor project finances, including invoicing status, costs, expenses and cash flow.
• Identify, assess, measure and manage risks, and make sure opportunities are found and pursued.
• Capture and review lessons learned throughout the project.
• Close the project formally as the contract specifies, and secure the customer's formal acceptance and sign-off of the close-out.
• Run contract and claims management in line with company policy and contract terms. Work with Supply Chain Management to buy services, materials and equipment from external and internal suppliers, and support them in negotiations, claims and project changes.
• Act as the customer's main contact and the escalation point for project issues. Build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and keep them informed.
• With the Project Controls department, define all project plan documents, including scope, financial, schedule and risk management plans.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, with Electrical or Management preferred.
• Excellent English and Italian.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.
• A PMI/PMP certification is a plus, not mandatory.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of project management experience is nice to have.

Based in Monselice, Padova, Italy. Full time. Not remote.
