Description

The commercial aircraft business is hiring a Service Bulletin Designer for its Service Bulletin Production Centre in Blagnac, France.

You will join the SIMYP1 team, designing and revising electrical and avionics Service Bulletins (SBs) that protect fleet safety and reliability and keep customers satisfied worldwide.

Blagnac sits in the engineering hub near Toulouse, a city known as the aeronautics capital and the European centre for space research. It lies between the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees, so outdoor activities are close by and the city has a lively feel.

Responsibilities

  • Write and revise avionics and systems electrical SBs that follow program schedules and quality standards.
  • Study Digital Mock-Ups (DMU), engineering drawings and design documents to set precise embodiment methods.
  • Check fleet aircraft configurations to determine component lists, materials and man-hour estimates.
  • Lay out logical work sequences, with structural figures, tables, hook-up charts and electrical illustrations that airlines can carry out.
  • Carry out quality checks and complete manufacturing upskilling so you can earn DOA delegation signature rights for Standard Technical Specifications.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in aircraft customer service (airline, MRO or manufacturing engineering) or in configuration management.
  • Required: working expertise in electrical avionics systems (ATAs).
  • Highly preferred: knowledge of the A380, A350, LR and SA programs.
  • Skill with technical authoring tools (e.g. SAMM, DACAS) or CAD environments (e.g. AXIOM, SeeXP, CIRCE), plus G Suite.
  • A proven record of managing projects, ideally multi-discipline continuous improvement and process enhancement work.
  • Full professional English in reading, writing and speaking for daily work with colleagues across functions and countries.
  • You may not match every point at 100%. The company offers customised development solutions to support your personal growth.
  • The role requires awareness of possible compliance risks and a commitment to acting with integrity, which underpins the company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Conditions

Permanent contract.

Based in Blagnac, France, at the engineering hub.

Job grade: Classe F12. Experience level: Professional.

Job family: Customer Engineering, Technical Support and Services.

  • Success and profit-sharing agreements.
  • Employee savings plan with company matching, and an employee stock purchase plan.
  • Extra days off for special occasions and an option to transfer holiday days.
  • Staff council running social, cultural and sports activities.
  • Complementary health insurance, an on-site health services centre, concierge services, a gym and carpooling options depending on site.
  • Unlimited access to +10,000 e-learning courses, upskilling certifications, expert career paths, and national and international mobility.
