SEO Strategist

The company is LocalEdge, part of the company. It helps small and mid-size businesses in all industries grow online, using its own technology and partnerships with major search engines, social networks and other large tech firms to offer a full range of digital marketing products.

The team is looking for an SEO Strategist to work with the existing Search Engine Optimization team on strategic SEO work for clients. You will put new SEO trends and tactics into practice. The role may include some client contact and centres on content creation. You need to be able to work alone and as part of a team.

Success is measured by how far specific keyword phrases climb in overall ranking, along with the quality and volume of your output.

Responsibilities

• Run technical SEO audits on client websites.
• Find, suggest and carry out on-page SEO improvements.
• Write and revise website content on a regular basis across many industries.
• Help grow the team and support your colleagues.
• Check campaign results often and change strategy where needed.
• Take on other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Communicate well in speech and writing with a varied range of customers.
• Be careful with detail, self-driven and well organised.
• Manage your time well and handle several projects and resources at once.
• Be comfortable using computers.
• Preferred: Knowledge of, and experience with, Search Engine Optimization.

Conditions

The base salary range shown is the company's good-faith estimate for this role at the posted work location when the posting went up. The final starting salary depends on lawful, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, education, location and market conditions.

Base salary range: $38,500 USD.
