Senior WEBCON BPS Developer

Description

You will join the WEBCON practice, a group of developers, analysts and consultants who automate business processes for clients in financial services, technology and manufacturing.

The role sits on one client engagement. You will own solution design, the hardest integrations and the technical standards for the client's WEBCON BPS platform.

You will be the client team's main technical expert, and you can draw on the wider practice for shared knowledge and help.

Responsibilities

• Design complete WEBCON BPS solutions, covering application architecture, process models, data structures and the integration approach.
• Build complex processes, business rules and reports in Designer Studio, and extend the platform with C plugins built on the SDK.
• Own integrations with the client's ERP, DMS, identity systems and external APIs, and define reusable integration patterns.
• Make platform configuration, performance, upgrade and environment decisions together with architects.
• Review other developers' solutions and enforce good practice, including naming, versioning and deployment standards.
• Help estimate and scope new requirements with the client and the delivery lead.
• Coach mid-level developers and share knowledge across the team.
• Investigate production issues and lead root-cause analysis for critical workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial software development experience, a substantial part of it on WEBCON BPS.
• Hands-on delivery of several WEBCON BPS applications from design to production, including migrations or upgrades.
• Advanced Designer Studio skills and working knowledge of the WEBCON SDK in C and.NET.
• Strong T-SQL on Microsoft SQL Server, including tuning process-related queries.
• Solid JavaScript, HTML and CSS for advanced form customisation.
• Very good knowledge of system integration methods, including REST, SOAP and authentication mechanisms.
• Understanding of business process modelling and turning business requirements into process designs.
• Good written and spoken English for client-facing work and documentation.
• Additional skill: experience with Camunda or another BPMN-based engine, for hybrid or multi-engine process landscapes.
• Additional skill: WEBCON BPS certifications.
• Additional skill: experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform integrations.
• Additional skill: experience with financial services or manufacturing clients that have formal compliance and audit requirements.
• Additional skill: familiarity with CI/CD or release management for WEBCON environments.
