Description

The company makes legal data intelligence software, including a cloud platform that turns large, complex data into insights for litigation, investigations, regulatory inquiries and data breach responses.

Its customers are large law firms, corporations and government agencies. The company also supports access to technology and pro bono legal work.

This role is on the engineering platform team. You will design and build React interfaces for complex administrative workflows, alongside designers, product managers and engineers.

You will also set the standard for AI-generated UI and build the tooling that enforces it. The job is hands-on but carries leadership duties: you will own the quality bar in your domain, shape how UI is built across the company, and mentor engineers in UX craft and AI-native development.

Responsibilities

  • Build React administrative interfaces that are usable, accessible, responsive and consistent from the first version.
  • Work with designers from discovery onward. Explore and prototype interaction options, raise technical limits early, and share ownership of workflows, edge states and interaction details.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes for usability tests, join research sessions, and revise designs based on what you learn.
  • Handle the details that make dense data screens workable: keyboard and focus handling, information density, motion, microcopy, error messages and internationalization.
  • Set the standard for AI-generated UI, use agents to prototype patterns quickly, and automate compliance through tooling instead of manual review.
  • Track success through user results on the most-used admin workflows, such as task completion, error rates and time to complete, plus the share of AI-generated UI that passes compliance gates without manual fixes.
  • Build reusable patterns and components, and define clear criteria for moving them into shared platform use.
  • Mentor engineers, champion accessibility and UX quality across teams, and help write company-wide standards for UX, frontend craft and AI-native UI development.

Requirements

  • Required: 5+ years of professional experience in UX engineering, frontend engineering or design systems at scale.
  • Required: Hands-on work with design systems, design tokens and reusable component architecture.
  • Required: Working knowledge of WCAG AA and inclusive design, applied during building rather than checked afterward, including testing with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
  • Required: Fluency in Figma (components, variants, variables) and keeping design and code libraries in sync, using design tokens as the shared language between designers and developers.
  • Required: Experience with modern development practices such as code review, testing and CI/CD.
  • Required: Strong judgment on product, interaction and visual design, and the ability to explain UX trade-offs to designers, product managers and engineers.
  • Required: A real interest in making complex workflows clear and efficient, not just visually consistent.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI-native development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code to prototype, build or validate UI, including encoding standards for agents through rules, skills or MCP-based tooling.
  • Preferred: Proven ability to build accessible, responsive apps with React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS, shown through a portfolio or code samples.
  • Preferred: Experience building tooling that automates UI standards, such as design tokens and component manifests that agents consume, and accessibility, lint and visual-regression checks in CI.
  • Preferred: Background in data-dense, workflow-heavy enterprise or administrative applications.
  • Preferred: A record of mentoring engineers and raising UX quality across teams.
  • Preferred: Experience in regulated or compliance-driven settings where accessibility and defensibility matter.
  • Skills tagged for this role: Design Systems, Information Architectures, Interaction Design, Prototyping, Responsive Layout, User Experience (UX), User Experience (UX) Design, User Research, Visual Design, Wireframing.

Conditions

The work model is hybrid.

The expected salary range is 173,000 to 259,000 PLN.

Final pay depends on factors including depth of experience, skill set, qualifications and internal pay equity. Offers at the top of the range are unlikely, to leave room for future salary growth in the role.

The company is committed to fair and equitable pay.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.
  • Benefits package, DTO, parental leave and an equity program.
