Description

The company is a global payments technology firm operating in more than 200 countries and territories, with a stated goal of building an inclusive digital economy.

The Data & Analytics program is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-team delivery of the transaction lookup platform (TLS), which gives disputes, chargebacks, analytics, customer servicing and payment partners scalable, high-performance access to transaction data in markets worldwide.

You will bring structure to unclear work across Engineering, Architecture, Data, Operations, Security, regional teams and business stakeholders, managing dependencies and risks so the team delivers reliable, secure and compliant transaction-data capabilities on schedule. The ideal candidate pairs strong program leadership with a working understanding of APIs, distributed systems, cloud platforms and end-to-end data flows.

Responsibilities

  • Own planning and delivery of large, cross-team platform initiatives, taking each one from scoping through launch and handover to operations.
  • Build integrated plans with milestones, success measures and delivery governance that match business goals and product roadmaps.
  • Align Engineering, Data, Architecture, Operations, Security and regional teams on scope, sequencing, ownership and delivery commitments.
  • Map and manage dependencies across upstream transaction sources, data transformations, storage, APIs and downstream consumers.
  • Log risks, issues, assumptions and decisions, drive them to resolution, and escalate blockers with clear options and impact assessments.
  • Lead technical and business discussions that pin down requirements, surface tradeoffs and keep everyone aligned as scope or priorities shift.
  • Work with technical leads on performance, availability, resiliency, security, compliance, data quality and regional needs.
  • Track progress against milestones and outcomes using delivery metrics and operational data, then identify gaps and recommend corrections.
  • Coordinate testing, release readiness, launch communications, operational handoff and post-launch follow-up.
  • Report program status, risks, dependencies and business impact to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Use SQL and analytical tools where useful to investigate transaction-data patterns, check program outcomes and support root-cause analysis.
  • Apply AI-assisted tools to improve planning, requirements analysis, reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Assess where AI can add value in TLS and related transaction-data workflows, and coordinate delivery where customer or operational value can be measured.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading technical programs or complex cross-functional initiatives. Data platform, API or cloud product work is preferred.
  • A record of coordinating large, interdependent technology deliveries across several teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, cloud platforms and enterprise-scale data systems.
  • Understanding of payments, transaction processing, disputes, chargebacks or financial services.
  • Experience mapping dependencies and data flows across source systems, processing pipelines, storage, services and consuming applications.
  • Strong skill in managing risk, issues, dependencies and change, and in bringing clarity and momentum to ambiguous work.
  • Ability to work with engineers and architects on technical detail while explaining plans, risks and decisions to business stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for program management, analysis, collaboration or operations.
  • Ability to judge AI opportunities pragmatically, with attention to customer value, operational impact and responsible implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Using SQL or other tools to investigate data issues and validate outcomes is an advantage.
