Description

The company's deep learning platforms are used widely by academic institutions, startups and large internet companies around the world.

The DGX Cloud team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with deep experience running cloud and on-prem infrastructure programs, including CSP and NCP environments, data center bring-up, hardware automation and operational excellence.

As an infrastructure TPM you will be the main contact for external CSP and NCP partners and for internal software engineering, production engineering and SRE, data center operations, and their leaders. You will run programs on AI cloud bring-up and automation, and help build core processes for hardware validation, remote fleet bootstrapping, operations and cluster or capacity bring-up. The work is fast and varied, covering many high-impact programs across the infrastructure lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end remote bootstrapping, bring-up and validation of large server fleets, taking clusters from rack-and-stack to customer-ready.
  • Push adoption of automation for fleet maintenance, node security and burn-in, and set up clear workflows to triage and fix day-one deployment issues quickly.
  • Work with internal the company software teams to integrate and deploy DSX and other core stacks in on-prem and infrastructure provider environments.
  • Run daily capacity operations with a focus on availability, maintenance, performance, resiliency and multi-tier infrastructure workflows.
  • Optionally grow scope by leading end-to-end capacity onboarding and operations with CSP and NCP partners as part of internal DGX Cloud capacity.
  • Work across engineering teams to map incoming technology roadmaps against data center readiness timelines and act on conflicts early.
  • Gather detailed requirements, build roadmaps and manage risk within the Product Lifecycle framework for bare-metal capacity deployment.
  • Use Jira and other program tools to bring structure to engineering and data center work.
  • Define key metrics to track program velocity, infrastructure availability and cluster health.
  • Communicate clearly across teams, including running weekly operations reviews that are collaborative.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical program management experience, specifically running cloud infrastructure programs with hardware and software integration across many engineering teams.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud or on-prem enterprise infrastructure, including data center bring-up, bare-metal and VM deployments, hardware infrastructure and orchestration, and workload management platforms.
  • Expert use of Jira, Smartsheet or similar tools, and the ability to design ticket queues and guide engineering teams in an Agile or Scrum setup.
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking, with the ability to build consensus, set up operational workflows and keep programs on track under uncertainty.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration and technical presentation skills, with a record of raising meeting engagement, gathering feedback and aligning senior cross-functional stakeholders.
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Optional: deep knowledge of the company GPU products, cluster deployment, validation testing and HPC infrastructure bring-up, including managing dependencies between AI software stacks, physical infrastructure and services such as high-performance storage.
  • Optional: experience with accelerated deployment schedules, such as 30-day data center rollouts, and asset-backed operating models.
  • Optional: background in automated server benchmarking, burn-in execution and infrastructure health validation workflows.
  • Optional: familiarity with cloud-native architectures, managed Kubernetes platform layers and distributed systems.
  • Optional: significant experience with AI tools, process automation and writing standard operating guidelines across technical domains.
