Description

The company is part of a large healthcare group working across Innovative Medicine and MedTech.

The role sits in Data Analytics and Computational Sciences, within Business Intelligence, in the Professional category.

The team is preparing a standalone orthopaedics company to separate from the group, expected to take 18 to 24 months and subject to legal requirements, works council and employee representative consultation, regulatory approvals and other standard conditions.

The role supports the move of supply chain systems tied to that separation and focuses on the internal web app for BOM forecast management and SET deployment, daily supply chain reporting, and scaling analytics platforms and governance.

If you accept, you would likely become an employee of the standalone company after the transaction closes, under its own employment processes, policies and benefit plans, with any planned changes shared at a suitable time after required consultation.

Responsibilities

  • Help design, build and maintain a web app for new set forecasting and deployment, covering BOM forecast management and SET deployment.
  • Help build and run an analytics platform roadmap and strategy that extends BI across the supply chain organization.
  • Study strategic and tactical business needs and build data-driven solutions that improve decisions.
  • Find, rank and start cross-franchise work to standardize and scale key supply chain reporting.
  • Work with IT and cross-functional teams on visualization and virtualization solutions for the move of planning solutions.
  • Own data validation, consolidation and quality checks, and improve existing dashboards and reports.
  • Keep datasets, Alteryx workflows and ETL inputs that feed Power BI reports up to date.
  • Own defined workstreams, deliverables and documentation within BI projects and programs.
  • Work with supply chain planning to gather feedback and refine SET forecast and deployment analytics and visuals.
  • Provide day-to-day BI support and handle ad hoc analysis requests.
  • Document metric definitions, access controls and reporting standards to govern BI.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree at minimum is required; a degree in supply chain, operations research, engineering, computer science, analytics, AI or an equivalent field is preferred.
  • At least five years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in supply chain planning is required.
  • Strong project management, including taking complex projects from start to finish.
  • Experience leading change across multi-regional, multi-functional teams in a highly matrixed setting.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence people at all levels.
  • Advanced SQL for data modeling, complex queries and performance tuning.
  • Experience connecting Databricks outputs to BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and to analytics workflows.
  • Expert experience with at least one of: CDL/EDG/EDL, SAP, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, R, SQL or Planet 9.
  • Preferred: experience using the company's internal Anchor app and a solid understanding of SET and supply chain modules.
  • Preferred: professional experience with APO and OMP planning systems and ERP systems, with a strong grasp of end-to-end processes.
  • Preferred: experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or consumer products industry.
  • Preferred skills include: accountability, advanced analytics, analytical reasoning, business intelligence (BI), business requirements analysis, communication, data analysis, data governance, data modeling, data privacy standards, organizing, problem solving, SAS programming, systems development, technical credibility, technical writing and workflow analysis.

Conditions

Fixed-term role at 100%, ending December 31, 2027.
