Description

This is a senior staff product marketing role, also called Regional Product Marketing (RPM) Specialist, covering go-to-market strategy and growth in one territory, plus lifecycle management and commercial results for the MCU, MPU and connectivity portfolio.

You turn detailed technical facts such as DMIPS, Flash memory, wireless performance, peripheral sets and application needs into customer-facing value propositions.

You run the region much like a general manager. You adapt the global strategy to local market conditions so the EP and C portfolio hits revenue and design-win targets in your geography, with close attention to customer needs.

You work with sales to find high-value white space and with distributors and design houses to build a strong support ecosystem. You also act as the voice of the region, so local needs and competitor moves shape future product roadmaps.

The company is an embedded semiconductor provider with more than 21,000 engineers in over 30 countries, serving automotive, industrial, infrastructure and IoT markets.

Responsibilities

  • Find and rank high-potential customers in the territory.
  • Run regional seminars, tech days, trade shows, enablement sessions and partner scouting.
  • Track the pipeline from design-in to design-win so future revenue is protected.
  • Spot sales opportunities and help the team close them.
  • Work with distributors on key accounts and long-tail customers.
  • Build lasting relationships with key customers and agree on roadmap and design-in and design-win support with them.
  • Set local pricing to compete with local players and protect customer share, in line with company goals.
  • Work with sales on account profiles covering customer roadmap, competitive landscape, SKU map, SAM, target sockets, SWOT and customer organisation.
  • Own the account engagement strategy, roadmap impact, account plan, action items and long-term tracking.
  • Adapt pitch decks, product positioning and articles for the market.
  • Train sales engineers, application engineers and partners on new products, competitive guides and technology trends.
  • Make sure partners have what they need: training, evaluation boards, IDE support and software libraries.
  • Build local third-party relationships and identify new partners.
  • Analyse customer-side trends in IoT, industrial automation, consumer electronics and related areas.
  • Track competitors so the company's pricing and performance stay ahead.
  • Gather regional requirements and make the case to the global team for putting them on the roadmap.
  • Monitor what competitors are doing locally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related technical field.
  • Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems or a related industry.
  • 5+ years in product marketing or product line management.
  • Experience in P&L management, strategic marketing, technical marketing, business development, applications, supply chain or cost management, or similar roles.
  • Understanding of microcontroller, microprocessor and connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive, and data center or communications infrastructure systems.
  • Understanding of microcontroller architectures such as ARM Cortex and RISC-V.
  • Understanding of connectivity technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC.
  • Understanding of embedded software ecosystems.
  • Understanding of semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics and supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong business sense and a P&L ownership mindset.
  • Strategic thinking backed by data.
  • Customer-first approach.
  • High energy, self-driven and proactive.
  • Strong written and spoken communication, able to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to work with teams in several locations and time zones.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Track record of launching products, winning design-wins and driving revenue growth.

Conditions

You will work with teams spread across several locations and time zones.

The company is an equal opportunity employer, and some of its technology is dual-use and subject to U.S. export controls, which may require a U.S. government export license before technology is released to certain persons, at the company's sole discretion.

Benefits
