This Senior SRE Engineer role sits in Product Operations Support and is based at the Warsaw plant and GO location.
The work covers application management, leading the SRE team, and IMS operations across products, with the team serving as the technical reference point for complex access, change and incident work.
Job number R000159050. Segmented for experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
Resolve complex access, ServiceNow change and incident problems, and act as the technical authority when the picture is unclear.
Serve as the senior escalation point for Product Operations and close cases that others have not been able to resolve.
Design and provision GCP infrastructure, permissions and IT access groups so they follow least privilege, are ready for audit, and scale.
Turn stakeholder feedback into new alerts and better alerting rules that have real impact.
Take a lead voice on major incident calls and push for lasting observability fixes that stop problems from returning.
Shape observability and instrumentation strategy across the platform, both designing it and advising on it.
Own the system of record for critical applications, including the Observability Hub and the SRE Agent, and keep it accurate and compliant.
Architect and govern access for the observability platform, Logscale and SRE AI agents, owning the IT access groups from start to finish.
Keep ServiceNow form templates up to date as product needs change quickly.
Own and shape the SRE team backlog, turning strategic priorities into concrete engineering work.
Run PI and sprint planning with the team and negotiate cross-team dependencies with product stakeholders.
Lead daily standups and grooming sessions and set the technical standard for the team.
Clear technical blockers for the team quickly so delivery moves faster.
Analyze incident data across IMS products to find systemic risks and improvement opportunities.
Represent the team on Observability boards and help set cross-organisation observability direction.
Work with GTO and horizontal teams to co-design and launch new initiatives.
Prepare executive reporting on operational health, initiative progress and product operations performance.
Define and update operations policies as processes and demand grow.
Oversee ServiceNow Assignment Group ownership across products to keep access management clean at scale.
Requirements
Hands-on experience designing alerting strategies, tuning signal-to-noise, and fixing root causes so incidents do not repeat instead of reacting to them during major outages.
A record as a senior or second-level escalation point, resolving complex, ambiguous production problems under pressure and helping others do the same.
Experience owning a team backlog, running PI and sprint planning, leading grooming and daily meetings, and unblocking engineers on hard technical problems.
Ability to analyze incident and operational data, turn it into clear reports and policy for GTO, horizontal teams and leadership, and drive multi-team initiatives to completion.
Proven experience designing, provisioning and governing cloud infrastructure and access controls, including permissions, service accounts and IT access groups, at enterprise scale with strong security and compliance discipline.
