Senior Solution Consultant

Description

The company builds CPM software for Finance teams, and its staff work across several continents and time zones.

As a Senior Solution Consultant for Benelux, you are the in-house expert on the company's CPM technology. You lead tailored demonstrations and solution presentations that show partners, prospects and customers what the product can do for them.

You work in Presales. You turn varied customer needs into validated solution designs and proof-of-concepts, shorten sales cycles with strong demos, and keep demo assets consistent and high quality.

Responsibilities

• Cut sales cycles by giving flawless standard and custom demos to mid-level and C-level executives in the Office of Finance.
• Work with prospects and customers with little supervision, making sure they are satisfied.
• Support less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development and Sales Representatives, and share knowledge across the team.
• Turn complicated customer challenges into persuasive proof-of-concept presentations.
• Build and deliver high-quality demos that show advanced features, benefits and the product's future direction.
• Find the best solution for each customer need and explain the company's overall value.
• Keep standard demo environments and materials current, accurate and effective.
• Give clear, convincing presentations and build trust with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of CPM industry experience in technical presales, consulting or similar roles.
• Technical experience with CPM tools, including the company's platform or similar.
• Background in Finance or Accounting, with familiarity in business analysis and financial modelling.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with confidence leading technical discussions.
• Proven ability to quickly assess customer landscapes and identify use cases.
• Experience helping customers evaluate CPM solutions or similar.
• Understanding of CPM concepts and financial modelling, with familiarity with the company's platform or similar CPM platforms and related technologies.
• Basic knowledge of database management and cloud-based solutions.
• Awareness of Finance and Accounting business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Active listening and strong interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Meticulous, with close attention to accuracy.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving setting.
• Builds credibility and stays professional in client interactions.
• Comfortable interacting with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
• Flexible when priorities or client needs change.
• Collaborates well in a team, and is results-driven with a competitive mindset.
• Able to lead technical discussions and match solutions to customer needs.
• Preferred: 6+ years of database management experience, including building, developing and deploying applications.
• Preferred: fluent Dutch. Confident, professional communication in both Dutch and French is a considerable advantage.

Conditions

Remote work.

Travel as needed for client engagements.

Total pay reflects experience, skills and location, judged on objective, job-related criteria.

Gross annual base salary of €135,000 to €147,500.

Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the country of this role. No sponsorship is offered.
