The company supplies a data network and intelligence architecture for capital markets, turning scattered data, operations and workflows into information fit for investment decisions.

Its clients are large institutional investors, asset managers and service providers, who together oversee more than US$75 trillion in assets each year.

Professional Services drives client adoption of the company's data management, benchmarking and platform services. The Solution Consulting team works across the whole engagement, from scoping and requirements to design, delivery, validation and adoption.

As a Senior Solution Consultant you are the functional expert on your engagements. You combine business and technical knowledge to own results, not only tasks.

You set your own priorities within agreed project objectives, handle your stakeholders without prompting and lead the consultants who work with you.

You spot unstated needs as well as stated ones and represent the company's capabilities to complex clients on your own.

The consulting function covers three product tracks, each with its own delivery model: self-serviced Data Management and Investment Intelligence, company-serviced Data Management, and Benchmarks & Indices (B&I).

Responsibilities

• Run requirements discovery on multi-workstream engagements, including facilitated workshops with senior client stakeholders.
• Work out the real need behind unclear or conflicting requirements and steer clients toward solutions that meet it.
• Control scope by spotting creep, pushing clients toward practical options, and making sure changes go through formal change control.
• Serve as the main consulting contact for your assigned client workstreams.
• Own solution approaches for complicated use cases that span several asset classes and data domains.
• Run solution design sessions and client workshops so that decisions get made.
• Find ways to improve client processes and widen the value the company delivers beyond the current project.
• Challenge non-standard client approaches with evidence and comparable past experience, staying constructive.
• Review and quality-check designs and documents produced by the Solution Consultants on your team.
• Answer for the quality and timeliness of your team's output across your workstreams.
• Anticipate delivery risks, act on them early, and escalate to senior staff when needed.
• Mentor the Solution Consultants you work with by reviewing their output, giving constructive feedback and supporting their growth.
• Work with Professional Services, Product and Engineering teams as delivery requires.
• Plan and run UAT, set acceptance criteria and manage the client through the testing cycle.
• Help clients through technology change, spotting adoption risks early and addressing them.
• Help shape Professional Services best practice, delivery standards and methodologies.
• Send Product teams structured feedback on client needs, product gaps and field observations.
• Take on change beyond formal projects when needed, such as smaller client changes, post-deployment enhancements, defects and transition work. Understand the need, shape the fix and see it through.
• Support wider Professional Services and company priorities, including internal projects, change initiatives and work tied to company and function OKRs.
• Lead the use of AI-enabled workflows on your engagements, identifying where new tools can speed up delivery or raise quality.
• Share effective AI working methods with less experienced colleagues.
• Keep up with AI developments relevant to your product track.

Requirements

• Deep working knowledge of investment management, asset management or financial data operations across several areas such as equities, fixed income, alternatives and derivatives.
• Solid grasp of data management workflows and the technical issues tied to your product track.
• Proven record of leading client-facing solutioning and delivery on complex, multi-workstream engagements.
• Experience mentoring or guiding more junior practitioners in a consulting or delivery environment.
• Familiarity with the company's products, or deep experience with comparable data management or benchmarking platforms.
• Ability to lead complex solution design and turn it into clear, actionable delivery plans.
• Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at project and operational levels without formal authority.
• Clear communication with operational, project and senior client audiences, adjusting the message to the listener.
• Able to manage competing priorities across several workstreams independently.
• Diplomatic but firm when advocating best practice, while keeping client relationships intact.
• Takes ownership of what the team delivers and is accountable for outcomes, not just tasks.
• Sets own priorities, manages stakeholders and escalates early without being asked.
• A natural informal leader and mentor who invests in the people around them.
• Thinks strategically and notices what is left unasked as well as what is asked.
