  • Keep a product mindset and tie your outcomes to broader platform, system and domain goals.
  • Write clean, efficient and reliable code in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart and C++.

  • Keep learning, and help colleagues grow through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with stakeholders to pin down complex business and user problems.
  • Turn pain points into concrete technical requirements and set clear metrics for measuring success and impact.
  • Work with cross-functional teams so solutions meet user needs and technical expectations.
  • Carry out complex maintenance and track application performance with suitable metrics and tools.
  • Keep projects on schedule using program reporting, CI/CD tools and logging systems.
  • Help deliver high-quality, reliable systems through proactive monitoring, testing and continuous integration.
  • Encourage a collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement and team wellbeing.
  • Help shape innovation strategy, internal knowledge sharing and platform improvements through sound engineering practice.
  • Protect uptime, performance and customer experience by owning the quality of the features you deliver.
  • Take responsibility for your deliverables and make sure they meet quality and business goals.
  • Act on problems without waiting to be asked and see projects through to completion.
  • Make well-reasoned technical decisions, weighing trade-offs and long-term effects on architecture and business goals.
  • Adapt quickly, pick up new technologies and understand the wider system you work in.
  • Anticipate how technical choices will affect other parts of the system and use feedback to improve results.
  • Work well across teams, share knowledge openly and explain complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Look for ways to improve processes, tools and products, and try new approaches to keep improving.
