Senior Software Engineer - Cybersecurity & DevOps

Description

The company is hiring a senior software developer with DevOps experience to strengthen its Active Network Defense (AND), Computer Network Defense (CND), and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) capabilities.

The work centers on protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer systems, and the role is for someone who cares about information security and can work at speed.

Responsibilities

• Build applications, APIs, scripts, and services.
• Deliver new requirements, application enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Keep code current in a Git repository.
• Write DevOps configuration files and scripts.
• Help resolve escalated customer tickets.
• Route, transform, and enrich data.
• Work with customers who send data and customers who receive it.

Requirements

• Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Have 14+ years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Have experience developing APIs.
• Have scripting skills, preferably in Python.
• Be proficient with Git and Jira.
• Have experience in at least four of the following: JavaScript, Regular Expressions (RegEx), REST services, Python frameworks, Elasticsearch/Splunk, CI/CD processes, monitoring tools (Nagios, Elastic Beats), Apache NiFi, React or Angular, DevOps tools (Ansible, Salt, Docker), or Cribl.

Conditions

Full-time position with no travel required.

The position depends on funding and may not be filled right away. It reflects roles the company regularly has open, and applicants may be considered for other openings.

The salary range is $131,800 - $290,000. Final pay depends on factors such as location, government contract labor categories and wage rates, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications.
