Senior Software Engineer

Description

This Senior Associate role focuses on building data-driven solutions for the company's strategic platforms, working with a collaborative engineering team across its data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve scalable data solutions on Data Lake technology, ideally Delta.
• Build and maintain Change Data Feed pipelines that keep data accurate and reliable in near real time.
• Develop and support data mirroring so data stays replicated and consistent across environments.
• Build cloud-native services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Work on event-driven designs covering ingestion, orchestration and processing.
• Help build solutions on Microsoft Fabric that bring together data, analytics and governance.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture and Product teams to deliver solutions smoothly.
• Promote clean code, good practice, automation, CI/CD, observability and reliability.
• Take part in technical discussions, peer reviews and decisions that set engineering standards.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Data Lake architecture, including Delta Lake and ways to optimise it.
• Strong understanding of Change Data Feed, mirroring, and real-time data ingestion and processing patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AKS and container-based microservices.
• Practical experience with event-driven systems such as Event Hubs, Kafka or similar.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, its data engineering components and integration patterns.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and make practical engineering decisions.
• Able to work autonomously while contributing well to a team.
• Clear, concise communication, including explaining engineering concepts to varied audiences.

Conditions

The annual gross base salary is between 203,800 zł and 322,200 zł, and ranges may vary by geographic location.

The role is also eligible for the annual bonus plan, with the target bonus percentage set by role level and career stage.

Individual pay reflects job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
